Walking tour of historic Mystic was so interesting and fun

Bill’s tour is the perfect way to get acclimated to Mystic. Bill has deep knowledge of the area and communicates so clearly that it made the rest of our trip that much better knowing where to apply our time. Bill’s handmade maps are also excellent to provide not just logistics, but history. Highly recommend this tour!

A true find!

My husband and I scheduled this tour for when we first arrived in Mystic, and I’m so happy we did! We loved it! A beautiful walk that gave us tremendous insight and color into the town. It truly enhanced our entire stay. Bill was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide and helped us get so much more out of our weekend! Don’t miss this!

Highlight of our trip to the Mystic area!

The Taste of Mystic Tour was a real treat! Our guide, Bill, shared a wealth of historical background of the area and sights, as well as the inside info on how and why the local culinary delights we experienced became area favorites. Because of his careful pre-planning, we had no wait at any of the restaurants, perfect seating for our group, and all of the servers were friendly and efficient. We felt very welcome at each stop, never rushed and the food was top notch. During the walking portion, he made sure to point out places and sites we surely would have missed if it wasn't for him. He was eager to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves and happily answered all of our many questions. My adult niece and I had a fantastic time on the tour and I highly recommend it! Read More

Fun, Yummy Tour

My daughter and I took this great tour with Bill yesterday! We both just loved it! The food was amazing...from a lobster roll to mussels and scallops (with wine), Mystic Pizza and cookies from Sift. We were so full, we took part of it back to the hotel! Bill is a local with lots of fun stories to tell and sights to show us! I highly recommend this tour when you are in Mystic!! Read More

Fabulous historic/cutural/food tour of Mystic and Noank

This is a great way to spend a half day in the Mystic CT area whether it's your first visit or you've been here many times before and think you've seen it all! Tour director Bill is friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and informative and he takes you to all the places you'd go to if only you knew where to go. DO NOT EAT breakfast before this tour! We had lunch at Ford's Lobsters, sea-based snacks and wine at The Engine Room, pizza at Mystic Pizza, and dessert at Sift, all included in the tour price and all accompanied by lots of geographic and historic information as well as insider info about the area (and of course the movie). Bill even sent us photos of our tour the next day. Don't miss this tour -- it's worth every penny! BTW, this is a 3-hour tour, not 45 minutes as indicated on Trip Advisor. Read More

Great tour for the history of the area.

Bill is a great tour guide. His love for and knowledge of the Mystic sea port and surrounding area is above par. We learned so much and had a vivid picture of history from the very beginning, and he paired the history of the area with great local insights that we would not have noticed. The time spent was definitely worth it. Just wear good shoes and be prepared to walk and have an interesting time with an engaging individual. Read More
