What’s better, visiting and touring a new city with a friend, or with a tour book/app?

Um, yeah — with a friend. I’ve been visiting the Mystic area since the 1960s, mostly as a summer visitor. Now that I live here full time, I’ve had lots of my own visitors —- funny how that happens when you live on the ocean. But I love it. I love sharing the unique flavor of the area. We walk, bike and boat to an amazing array of historic, culinary, cultural, and scenic sites.

Local tour guides have seen the bad restaurants, so you don’t have to.

Mystic Revealed was started as a way to share the ‘real’ Mystic with visitors from everywhere.  When you tour with a local, you see a place through their eyes. They’ve visited the bad restaurants, so you don’t have to.  They’ve visited attractions at the wrong times, so you don’t have to. They’ve taken time to discover hidden treasures, so you can see them. Mystic is a feast for the senses: sites, smells, tastes and sounds —– but also a feast for the curious mind. History drips from the area, and bringing that to life is a mission of Mystic Revealed.
